Mangaluru, Jan 22, 2019: Nitte (Deemed to be University) signed MoU with the Medorganics Private Limited a division of Meditech India on 22nd January 2019.
The company which has the state of the art manufacturing facilities which engaged in the production of herbal extracts and ayush formulations for the Indian and export markets. The Medorganics was started by Mr.PramodHegde, a pharma entrepreneur in the coastal city of Mangalore.
The MoU focuses on carrying out pre formulation and pre-clinical studies training of pharma students and possibility of collaborative research in the area of drug development.
The MoU was signed by Dr.Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Vice Chancellor, Nitte (Deemed to be University) and Mr.PramodHegde, Chairman and Managing Director, Medorganics. The MoUwas signed in the presence of Mr.Shrikumara, Head Quality Control, Medorganics and Dr. M S Moodithaya, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr.AlkaKulkarnin, Registrar, Dr.IndraniKarunasaga, Research Director of Nitte (Deemed to be University), Dr. Prakash, Dean of Medical College and the Heads of constituent colleges of Nitte (Deemed to be University).
The event was co-ordinated by Dr.C S Shastry, Principal, NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
