Department of Anaesthesiology and Critical care, KS Hegde Medical Academy conducted a Conference on Recent trends in Critical Care Medicine titled “Kshema Criticare2019” at KS Hegde Hospital on Sunday 13th January 2019. Prof. Dr Satheesh Kumar Bhandary B, Vice Chancellor, Nitte University inaugurated the event. Vice Dean, KSHEMA, Dr Jayaprakash Shetty and Medical Superintendant Dr Shivakumar joined Vice Chancellor for the inaugural Ceremony. Dr Bhandary insisted of having such programmes on a yearly basis so that it can benefit the society Organising Chairman Dr Sripad G Mehandale welcomed the gathering with his exhilarating speech. The programme included many of the recent advances in the field of critical care medicine with five renowned faculty including Dr Sunil karanth, chief of critical care unit, Manipal hospital, Bangaluru. Organising secretary, Dr Nikhil M P expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all those have made the programme successful. About 200 consultant, specialist intensivist and postgraduate students from Karnataka and kerala benefited from the programme.
