The Orientation program for the 30th batch of Post Graduate students (MDS 2019-20) was organized by AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences on 4th May 2019 at Vimshathi Bhavan. Prof.(Dr.) US Krishna Nayak, Principal & Dean welcomed the new batch of postgraduate students and gave a brief insight into the history, infra structure & facilities including academic & research opportunities at the Institution. He also briefed the new students on the rules and regulations of the Institution and the discipline expected from the postgraduate students. Prof. Dr. Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Vice Chancellor, Nitte (Deemed to be University) welcomed and congratulated the students on joining one of the ‘best dental colleges in the country’.
Prof. Dr. Mithra N Hegde, Vice Principal also addressed the students. Prof. Dr. Shishir Shetty, Dean, Student Welfare proposed the vote of thanks. Prof. Dr. Amarshree Shetty, Associate Dean, Student Welfare compered the program. All the Heads of Departments and postgraduate guides were also present on this occasion.
