NSS unit of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences organized a youth awareness program, “Yuva Spandana” on 15th May 2019 at Chinthana Hall, Justice KS Hegde Charitable Hospital.
Mrs. Suchithra BS, NSS Program Officer, NUINS welcomed the gathering. The resource person of the day Mr. Anuraj, Life skill trainer and National Level speaker, created awareness among the students about youth problems, issues and methods to solve the same.
Mrs. Parveena, ‘Youth Parivarthaka’ briefed about the importance, activities and benefits of Yuva Spandana. Pamphlets on “Yuva Spandana” were distributed to the students. Dr. Sumalatha R Shetty, NSS program Co-ordinator, Nitte University and Mrs. Cleeta Pinto NSS program officer, NUINS, were present. 200 NSS volunteers participated in the program.
