A 5-day FDP on ‘Integrated Water Resources Management’ was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, in association with the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of NMAMIT, Nitte on the occasion of ‘Jal Diwas’ on 22nd July 2019.
Dr. M K Nagaraj, Sr. Professor & Dean, School of Engineering & Technology, CMR University, Bengaluru inaugurated the program and delivered a talk on 'Importance of Water Conservation and efficient usage of water resources'. Dr. I Ramesh Mithanthaya, Vice Principal & Dean at NMAMIT was the Guest of honor. Dr. Niranjan N Chiplunkar, Principal presided over the function. Dr. S K Mahadeve Gowda, HoD, Civil Engineering welcomed the gathering. Dr. Bhojaraj, Co-ordinator briefed about the schedule of FDP. Mr. Thushar Shetty, Co Co-ordinator delivered the vote of thanks. Mr. Janakraj was the Master of Ceremony.
