Science Model Competition on Wealth from Waste was organised by the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal as part of the National Symposium on Environmental Pollution Prevention and Control: Future Perspective.
Our students, Sharwari V Rao and Nishta of Class IX bagged the second prize for the model Bio-enzyme - A multi-purpose cleaner, prepared using peels of citrus fruits. Ayesha Mashoora and Fathima Anshu Mansoor of Class VIII received participation certificates for their model "Agarbatti made from waste flowers".
