The Department of Medical Surgical Nursing organized an international seminar on Assertiveness Skill Training on 23rd December 2019.
Mr. Gilbert Nelson Martis, CEO and Director of Health Skills Training Ltd, United Kingdom, was the Chief Guest and resource person. He explained the concepts of assertiveness and importance of communication skills in nursing service and education with practical tips.
The program was coordinated by Mrs. Latha S, HoD Medical Surgical Nursing. Mrs. Cleeta Anline Pinto, Asst Professor welcomed the gathering and Ms. Gincy Joseph, Lecturer proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Joyce Mable D souza II M.Sc (N) student compeered the program. A total of 74 members (22 students & 52 staff) benefitted from the seminar.
