The Department of Mathematics has introduced the Mathematics Laboratory using an open-source software 'WXMAXIMA' for I BE students of 2019-20 batch. Dr. Niranjan N Chiplunkar, Principal accompanied by Dr. I R Mithanthaya, Vice Principal & Dean (Academics) inaugurated the lab on 28th December 2019, by lighting the lamp.
The main objective of this fully equipped lab is to make students aware of the various applications of Mathematics. Dr. Kumudakshi, Associate Prof. & Head, Dept. of Mathematics welcomed the gathering and conveyed the significance of the lab.
Heads of various departments, faculty members of the Dept. of Mathematics were present during the occasion.
