The annual Parent-Teacher Meet of NUCSER, ‘Open Day 2020’ was organized on 15th February 2020. The program was attended by parents to discuss the progress of their wards in academic and extra-curricular activities.
The Director of the Institute welcomed the parents and explained how the UG & PG programs inculcate research culture among students and allow them to go out as health science professionals.
The Deputy Director, briefed about the academic performance of students during the last academic year. An interactive career guidance session was conducted to make parents aware of the occupational choices their wards could have. Post presentation, the parents interacted with the mentors of their wards to discuss about the academics and other related issues at the Institute. On this occasion, parents were also asked to provide inputs about the strengths, needs and learning styles as well as their expectations of the program.
A large number of parents participated in the event and expressed their appreciation regarding the activities and facilities provided by the institute.
