News from NMAMIT | Engineers’ Day

NMAM Institute of Technology celebrated Engineers’ Day on 15th September 2020. The event was inaugurated by garlanding the bust of Sir. M Visvesvaraya and lighting the lamp. The Chief guest, Mr. Rohit Punja, Administrator, Nitte Education Trust, Bengaluru Campus, joined the event online and addressed the gathering. Dr. Niranjan N Chiplunkar, Principal, NMAMIT presided over the function.

The latest edition of NMAMIT News Bulletin was released during the event. Portraits of Sir CV Raman, Sri. S Ramanujan, Sri. APJ Abdul Kalam and Sri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee were handed over to Dr. Srinath Shetty, Resident Engineer to display them in different academic blocks in the campus. Dr. Ajit M Hebbale, Assoc. Professor, Dept. of Mechanical Engg. was felicitated for successfully completing his Post Doctoral Fellowship at ARCI, Hyderabad during the year 2019-20.

Dr. I. Ramesh Mithanthaya, Vice Principal & Dean (Academics) welcomed the gathering. Dr. Srinath Shetty conveyed the significance of Engineers’ Day celebration. Dr. Udayakumar G, Professor, Dept. of Civil Engineering introduced the Chief Guest. Dr. Arunkumar Bhat, Head, Dept. of Civil Engg. proposed the words of gratitude. Mr. Krishnaraja Joisa A, Public Relations Officer, NMAMIT compered the program.
