News from MRSMEMHS | Inauguration of clubs

‘Sci ¶’”Π - comprising of Science, Literature and Red Cross Clubs were inaugurated to mark the National Science Day by Dr. Sudharani, Lecturer, Alva’s P U College Moodabidri on 28th February 2022.

Speaking at the function, she admired the relevance of merging the three clubs. Literature and Service express themselves in perfection, if perceived with a scientific outlook. These bring out great literature and make human beings sensitive to the needs of society. She captured the attention of the children with inspirational short stories.

The Principal Mrs. Shreelatha Rao, urged students to inculcate reading as a hobby. She said reading books broaden one’s imagination and perception of the true self and the world at large.

Mr. Arun Shetty, President of the PTA expressed his happiness at the involvement of students in various activities through these clubs. He said such involvement gives scope to students to vent out their energy fruitfully. Mrs. Smitha HM, Mrs. Usha G Poojarthy and Mrs. Vani Kumari, Heads of Science Club, Red Cross and Literature Club respectively were present. 

Students exhibited models prepared by them, based on various concepts of Science and Mathematics. An inter -house PPT presentation was the main attraction of the day.
