The Sports Carnival 2023, a fun-filled event aimed at promoting good health & well-being among students was held on 11th March 2023 at the University Grounds, Deralakatte. The chief guest was Mr. Ashwin Kumar Padukone, a professional table tennis coach and the guest of honor was Dr. Murali Krishna, Sports Advisor, Nitte DU.
The event saw the participation of over 150 students in various track and field events, as well as tournaments in basketball, football, throwball, badminton and table tennis. The competitions were divided based on gender and students represented their respective houses - Casa, Bayt, Graha, Maison which added to the overall excitement and spirit of sportsmanship. Students displayed their athletic skills and also participated in various fun games such as frog jump, sack race, arm wrestling, musical chair and paper dance.
