The Department of Community Medicine, KSHEMA organized an Immunization Program on 13th September 2023 at Kadri Urban Health and Training Centre, Kadri with the support of Bejai Government Urban Health Centre. The program was coordinated by Dr. Raksha (Medical Officer), Mr. Santhosh NP (Medical Social Worker), Ms. Gowthami and Ms. Bharathi (ANM, Bejai Government UHC), Ms. Prabha (Asha Worker Bejai UHC) along with the help of Staff nurse Vilma, Ms. Navya (Lab tech) and KS Hegde Medical Academy Interns - Dr Gokul, Dr Hari Krishnan & Dr Hariharan.
The immunization was done as per the National Immunization Schedule and 3 children & 3 antenatal mothers were immunized. They were informed about the adverse effects of the vaccines given and the date of their next doses.
