From being positive to learning to forgive, kids can learn many valuable life lessons from the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi. Keeping this in mind, the birth anniversary of the Mahatma and Lal Bahadur Shasthri was celebrated with utmost reverence in the school on 2nd October 2023.
The program started with Gandhiji’s favourite bhajan Vaishnav Janto's Kannada version. A speech by Master Devanshu of Class 10 brought the gathering to understand more about these iconic leaders. PTA President Mr Swaraj Shetty addressed the students and highlighted the values that they have to imbibe from these great leaders. Principal, Ms Shreelatha Rao urged the students to develop 21st century skills to be great leaders and human beings. She also highlighted that Mahatma Gandhiji could unite the entire nation because he was able to convince the mass with his excellent communication skills.
Students sang in chorus Sarva Dharma Prayers and Bhajans after which they observed one-minute silence.
The program concluded with Shramadhan by the students in the school campus.
Sweets were distributed to all.
