The Quality Circle criterion 7 of IQAC and Dept. of Medical Surgical Nursing organized a value-added seminar on ‘The Art of Human Relations’ on 10th October 2023 at Vimshati Bhavan.
Dr. Jayaprakash Rao, former Chief PRO, Aeronautical Development Agency, Bangalore was the guest speaker. He interacted with nursing students and stressed the importance of maintaining good relations with everyone. Pointing out the difference between sympathy and empathy, he said that a smile is the best means to start any conversation. He also explained how to maintain calmness and generate good thoughts with the help of motivational videos of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
The program began with a prayer song, followed by a welcome address by Ms. Latha S and lamp lighting by the dignitaries. Ms. Cleeta Anline Pinto, Principal, School of Nursing proposed the vote of thanks.
A total of 245 students and 2 faculty members attended the seminar.
