Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy in association with the Ramakrishna Mission Swacch Mangaluru Abhiyan conducted ‘Month 02 - Swachhata Shramadan’ on 19th November 2023, 7:15 am onwards at Clock Tower, Mangaluru. 35 students participated in the event for a social cause.
The students and faculty, Mr. Rakesh Krishna Kovela and Swachh Sena Coordinator Ms. Neha Shetty started the cleaning drive from Clock Tower. They cleaned the mural walls and pavement till Wenlock District Hospital. Ms. Jerlin, Student Coordinator, Swachh Sena coordinated the work of the students.
The participation of students and faculty in this cleanliness drive was highly appreciated by Ramakrishna Mission Swachh Mangaluru Abhiyan members and an article was published in the Times of India highlighting the contribution of the students of Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy.
