Celebration of Kanaka Jayanthi

The NSS Unit of Nitte DU jointly with the Dept. of Humanities organised an event to commemorate Bharatiya Bhasha Divas, on 11th December 2023.

Poster and Essay competitions with the theme "My Language – My Culture," were held to engage the talented students of Nitte DU.

Visually captivating posters and insightful essays portrayed the creative expressions of students from North India, North-East, and South India.The event served as a platform for students to delve into the rich tapestry of linguistic diversity and cultural heritage that defines the essence of Bharatiya Bhasha Divas.

Ms. Sadhana Deshmukh, Director, Staff Development Centre, inaugurated the event at the Glass House, Justice K.S. Hegde Charitable Hospital. She emphasized the importance of these competitions, which have a crucial role in broadening our understanding of languages and varied cultures.

ನಿಟ್ಟೆ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಭಾಷಾ ದಿವಸ ಆಚರಣೆ

ನಿಟ್ಟೆ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸೇವಾ ಯೋಜನಾ ಘಟಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾನವಿಕ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಡನೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಭಾಷಾದಿವಸದ ಆಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಅದರ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ನಿಟ್ಟೆ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಅಂಗಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯ ದೃಷ್ಠಿಯಿಂದ “ನನ್ನ ಭಾಷೆ-ನನ್ನ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ” ಕುರಿತು ಪೋಸ್ಟರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆಯಿಂದ ರೂಪಿತವಾದ ಪೋಸ್ಟರ್ ಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಬಂಧಗಳು ಉತ್ತರ ಭಾರತ, ಈಶಾನ್ಯ ಭಾರತ ಹಾಗೂ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾರತದ ಭಾಷೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸಿದವು. ಭಾಷಾವೈವಿಧ್ಯತೆಯ, ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ವೈವಿಧ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಂಬಿಸಿದ ಈ ರೀತಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಭಾಷಾ ದಿವಸದ ಸಾರಸತ್ವವನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿತ್ತು.

ಜಸ್ಟೀಸ್ ಕೆ.ಎಸ್. ಹೆಗ್ಡೆ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಗ್ಲಾಸ್ ಹೌಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪೋಸ್ಟರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಬಂಧಗಳ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ನಿಟ್ಟೆ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಸಿಬಂದಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ಸಾಧನಾ ದೇಶ್ ಮುಖ್ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು -ಇಂತಹ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳು ಭಾಷೆ-ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಗಳ ಕುರಿತಾದ ಜ್ಞಾನವಿಸ್ತಾರಕ್ಕೆ್, ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಪ್ರಕಟನೆಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಬಲ್ಲವು - ಎಂದರು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಟ್ಟೆ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸೇವಾ ಯೋಜನಾ ಘಟಕದ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಶಿಕುಮಾರ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ನ್ಯುಟ್ರಿಶಿಯನ್ ಅಂಡ್ ಡಯಟಿಟಿಕ್ಸ್ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಡಾ. ಪ್ರೇರಣಾ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆ, ಎ ಎಂಡ್ ಒಟಿಟಿಯ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರತಿಮಾ, ಸುಮಿತಾ ವಿ. ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಮಾನವಿಕ ವಿಭಾಗದಿಂದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಡಾ. ಸಾಯಿಗೀತಾ, ಶ್ರೀ ದಿನೇಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಕಿಶನ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
