The Department of Public Health Dentistry, AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, commemorated World Oral Health Day on 18th March 2024.
The program was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Prof. (Dr.) Audrey M.D’Cruz, HoD, Public Health Dentistry, spoke on the significance of World Oral Health Day. Prof. (Dr.) Mithra. N. Hegde, Vice Dean, ABSMIDS delivered the presidential address.
Dr. Shilpa. M, Lecturer, Dept of Public Health Dentistry led the III BDS students in the oral health pledge. The interns performed a skit, highlighting the importance of maintaining good oral health. Ms. Kezia, Intern was the master of ceremony. The III BDS students put up a selfie stand and displayed oral health education models highlighting the importance of oral health.
Over 100 students participated in the program.
