The Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, ABSMIDS conducted a CDE Program on “Orofacial Pain: An Update” on 18th July 2024 at Avishkar Auditorium. The resource person was Dr Sonia Bhat, Fellow, Orofacial Pain and Sleep Medicine (Roseman University USA), Specialist Prosthodontist, Abu Dhabi and ABSMIDS Alumna (Batch of 1996).
Dr Sonia Bhat delivered three lectures as follows:
Lecture 1: Orofacial pain-The new road;
Lecture 2: Key to the diagnosis of Orofacial Pain
Lecture 3: Case discussions.
The program concluded with an interactive session with the postgraduates of Oral Medicine and Radiology. Around 182 delegates participated in the program. Delegates included faculty, interns and postgraduates of ABSMIDS and external faculty & interns from Yenepoya Dental College, A J Institute of Dental Sciences and Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences.
