News from JKSHIM | Auditing insights for future finance leaders

Our MBA finance students recently participated in a comprehensive training program on basic auditing knowledge on 13th & 17th July 2024. With 125 students in attendance, the program aimed to enhance their understanding of auditing principles & practices, boosting their placement prospects. The interactive sessions covered crucial topics such as financial statement analysis & risk assessment, internal control systems & auditing standards, audit planning, execution, reporting, fraud detection & prevention and auditing specific accounts and transactions.

The resource persons shared real-world examples and case studies, illustrating the application of auditing concepts in various business scenarios. By bridging the gap between academia and industry, this initiative will have a lasting impact on students' professional journeys, empowering them to excel in auditing and beyond.
