Accidents happen anywhere, anytime. Having knowledge of First Aid enables us to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations reducing the risk of further harm. In this regard, a guest lecture was conducted on “First Aid” on 27th July 2024.
The resource person, Dr. Vashitha K, Sr. Resident, General Surgery, AJ Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore elaborated on the immediate assistance given to a person with any illness or injury. She listed out the injuries and diseases that require first aid and taught certain skills essential for saving a life.
PTA President Mr. Pushparaj Chowta was present.
