In a vibrant display of unity and harmony, the NSS unit of Nitte Institute of Communication (NICO) observed Sadbhavana Diwas on 20th August 2024. The day, dedicated to the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, was marked by a series of events aimed at fostering national integration and communal harmony.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Satya Prasad, HoD, NICO emphasized the significance of national unity and the role educational institutions play in nurturing these values. Following the speech, the non-teaching staff of NICO, were honored through a series of engaging & interactive games. These activities not only celebrated the essential role these staff members play in the institution, but also encouraged a spirit of togetherness and camaraderie among all participants. The festivities continued with a skit presented by the I-year BA students. The performance, conveyed powerful messages of harmony and inclusivity. The event culminated in a prize distribution ceremony where winners of the games were awarded.
