The Patient Safety Cell of ABSMIDS conducted a Continuing Dental Education program on patient safety in dentistry titled "Improving Diagnosis for Patient Safety" on 17th September 2024. The program was aimed to enhance and improve the proficiency of the participants in safe diagnosis of the oral disorders.
Prof. (Dr.) US Krishna Nayak, Principal & Dean delivered the welcome address. Prof. (Dr.) Mithra Hegde, Vice Principal, ABSMIDS also addressed the gathering. Prof. (Dr.) Padmaraj Hegde, HoD, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery introduced the resource person, Prof. (Dr.) Manjunath Rai to the audience.
Dr. Rai spoke on the various possibilities of achieving improved patient safety and provided comprehensive guidance on these aspects, facilitating better understanding among the participants. Dr. Sahana Maben, Patient Safety Nodal Officer proposed the vote of thanks.
