A Poshan drive was organised by the NSS Unit of NIPT on 23rd September 2024. Dr. Swapna S, Assoc. Professor & Sr. Medical Officer, Sharada Yoga and Naturopathy Medical College & Hospital, Talapady was the resource person.
Dr. Mahima R Banjan, NSS Coordinator (Unit II) welcomed the gathering. Dr. Swapna & Mr. Rakesh Krishna Kovela delivered lectures on the importance of nutrients in our diet and how our lack of healthy eating habits would adversely affect us. The vote of thanks was rendered by Ms. Ruchita Narsia. Ms. Vellika, I BPT was the Master of Ceremony.
On this occasion, the NSS Unit also organised an e-Poster Contest on the theme, ‘Inclusion of millet in food for all the age groups.’
The sessions were insightful and followed by a Q&A round.
