The Dept. of Computer Science in association with the Students’ Association of Computer Science (STACS), NRAM Polytechnic conducted a workshop on ‘Conscious Leadership: Lessons from the Indian Knowledge System’.
Resource person, Prof. (Dr) Sudhir Raj K, JKSHIM emphasized the significance of conscious leadership and explained how ancient Indian knowledge systems provide valuable insights into decision-making, ethics and personal growth. He elaborated on how historical leaders followed principles of mindfulness, responsibility and self-awareness, which remain relevant in today’s fast-paced world. Drawing from texts like the Bhagavad Gita, he highlighted how leadership is not just about authority but about responsibility, wisdom and service to the community.
The importance of self-discipline and continuous learning was discussed. He encouraged students to cultivate a mindset of growth and resilience, emphasizing that challenges should be seen as opportunities for development. Through practical examples, he demonstrated how conscious leadership can positively impact teams, organizations and society as a whole.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment. Smt. Shridevi M, STACS Coordinator along with the office bearers, organized the workshop.
