Team Arion, the student motorsports team of Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, delivered an outstanding performance at Formula Bharat 2026 held at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore from 22nd to 26th January 2026, earning national recognition among leading engineering institutions in India.
Competing against top engineering colleges from across the country, the team successfully cleared the rigorous mechanical scrutiny, tilt test and noise test, demonstrating the technical precision, safety compliance and engineering reliability of their formula style race car. These evaluations are critical benchmarks in national level Formula Student Competitions and reflect the team’s meticulous design and testing process.
Showcasing excellence in both technical and managerial domains, Team Arion secured an impressive All India Rank of 15 and Karnataka State Rank of 5. Further strengthening their achievement, the team stood third in the Business Plan Presentation, highlighting their capability in engineering design, cost analysis and strategic planning alongside automotive innovation.
