The Orientation Program for the newly admitted trainees of 2026-27 was held on 3rd August 2026 at the institute. The program commenced with an invocation rendered by Sri Harischandra. Sri Sharath Rao, JTO, welcomed the dignitaries, freshers and their parents.
Inaugurating the program, Sri Dhananjaya Shettigar, Proprietor, Sagarika Enterprises encouraged the trainees to maintain discipline, develop skills and make the best use of the opportunities available during their ITI training.
Principal Sri Raghavendra Adiga NL introduced the management, the institute, its vision, infrastructure, training facilities and achievements. He introduced all the faculty members to the new students, encouraging them to interact freely with the staff whenever required for guidance and support. Sri Vishwanath Rao, Training Officer briefed about the objectives of the orientation program, the training system and career opportunities after completing ITI courses.
The staff members conducted a series of informative sessions thereafter. Mr. Harischandra spoke on Office Information, Ms. Sunitha Praveen covered Placements, Mr. Wilfred John Mathias presented on 5S Safety and Ms. Rajani led the session on Soft Skills. All the sessions were highly interactive and offered valuable insights & guidance to the new trainees and their parents.
Smt. Poornima proposed the vote of thanks and the program was compered by Sri Abhijith.
