KSHEMA “Swachh Bharath Programme” in collaboration with Ramakrsihna Mission Mangalore.
The inauguration ceremony of 3rd phase “Swacch Mangalore” was presided by Rev. Swami Bodhasaranandaji Maharaj, Assistant General Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Belur Math West Bengal, and Swami Jitakamanandaji Secretary Ramakrishna Mission Mangalore. The honourable guests present at the eve were Dr. N.V Hegde Honourable Chancellor Nitte University, J.R Lobo, MLA Mangalore, Capt Ganesh Karnik, MLC, Karnataka, and Sri. BHV Prasad, General Manager MRPL, Mangalore. It was decided that in upcoming 10 months along with 40 teams in every consecutive week 10 drives will be done. Among the 40 teams one team was NSS - KSHEMA and decided that one Sunday in a month will be spent to clean the city.

KSHEMA volunteers have participated in “Swachh Bharath Programme” near Mangaladevi Temple Street, Mangalore.on 2nd October 2016.
The inauguration of the first drive of Swachh Bharath Programme was done by Dr. N. V Hegde Honourable Chancellor Nitte University in the presence of Prof. (Dr). Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Dean, KSHEMA, Capt Ganesh Karnik, MLC Karnataka. Prof. Satheesh Rao, HOD Psychiatry , Dr. Shivakumar Hiremath, Medical Superintendent, Dr. Sumalatha Shetty Co-Ordinator NSS, Nitte University, Mr. Shashi Kumar Shetty, NSS Programme Officer, KSHEMA were present.
