Observation of World Aids Day - NUINS

Department of Community Health Nursing, Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences observed World AIDS Day on 01/12/2016 based on the theme, Hands up for the HIV prevention. A walkathon was held from KSHEMA to the Deralakkatte Junction by Final Year B. Sc Nursing and III GNM students of the Institute. Students performed a role play based on the theme and health education was given to the public. Mrs. Vijaya, President, Belma Grama Panchayath was the Chief Guest. Mr. Abdul Khader, Member, Belma Grama Panchayath and Dr. Neeta Kamath, H.O.D, Dept. of Community Health Nursing were present throughout the program. Mrs. Suchitra B.S, Mr. Vallesh R Shetty, Mr. Jince.V John, Mrs. Shobha, Dept. of Community Health Nursing were actively participated and given guidance for the program. Ms Ashwini, IV B.Sc nursing student compared the program. The general public benefited by the program.
