No smoking week - KSHEMA

Department of Psychiatry observed ‘No Smoking‘ week from 10.03.2017 to 16.03.2017, in collaboration with the Student Council, KSHEMA and Mission Hope, KSHEMA. The programme was inaugurated on 10th March continued with Family Meet. Poster Presentation competition for constituent colleges of Nitte University was conducted the same day and it was displayed on 11.03.2017 and Prize distribution on 13.03.2017. Awareness programmes including Skit were conducted by MSW students on 10.03.2017 & UG Students from 11.03.2017 to 16.03.2017. The Programme was inaugurated by Major(Dr.)Shivakumar Hiremath, Medical Spdt. Justice K.S. Hegde Charitable Hospital. Dr. P.S.Prakash , Vice Dean & Head of the Department of General Medicine, KSHEMA was the Chief Guest and was presided by Dr. Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, DEAN, KSHEMA. Dr. Anil Kakunje, Associate Professor, Department of Psychiatry, Yenepoya Medical College and Dr. Adithi K. , Assistant Professor, Dept. of Medicine, K.S.H.E.M.A., Dr. Jaganath , Department of Public Health, K.S.H.E.M.A. were the resource persons. Dr. Satheesh Rao. , Prof. & Head, Dept. of Psychiatry, K.S.H.E.M.A. welcomed the audience and vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Santosh Prabhu, Asst. Professor, Dept. of psychiatry, K.S.H.E.M.A.
