18th College Day celebration, Award Ceremony, and Students Council inauguration was organized at K.S.Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore on 28th September 2017. Dr. Jagadeesha K.G., IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada District was the Chief Guest for the occasion, Dr.S.Ramananda Shetty, Vice Chancellor, Nitte University was the Guest of Honour, Dr.M.Shantharam Shetty, Pro-Chancellor, Nitte University presided over the function, Prof.Dr.Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Dean, K.S.Hegde Medical Academy welcomed the gathering, Dr.P S Prakash, Dr.A.M.Mirajkar, Vice Deans, Dr.Jayaprakash Shetty, Registrar, KSHEMA, Dr.Siddharth Shetty, Student Advisor, Mr. Ajish Sam George, Students President 2016-17 batch were present the occasion. The college annual magazine ECHO was released on this occasion by the guest. Dr.Harshitha Punja received the award for the best outgoing student for the year 2017-18.
