Training on self defence techniques for women - KSHEMA

Training on self defence techniques for women was organised by women guidance cell of K.S.Hegde Medical Academy on 27th October 2016. Mr. Karthik Kateel and his mother Mrs Shobhalatha Kateel, the resource personnels, educated the female students of 2017 batch. They demonstrated simple and effective techniques which could be used by women aganist men with ulterior motives in different situations. The demonstration was followed by an interactive session. Nearly 150 girl students participated in the program. Formal feedback was collected on the program which was very encouraging. Dr. Sukanya Shetty, Prof. & H.O.D, Dept. of Biochemistry KSHEMA, Dr Roopa, Assistant professor, Dr Supreetha, Chief Librarian and Dr. Deepa, Assistant Professor of Pharmacology, Mrs Archana, Coordinator of NMLT, Mrs Shruthi Lecturer also participated. Dr. Shailaja Moodithaya, Additional Professor of Physiology delivered the vote of thanks.
