Dr Arunachalam Kumar passes away

Dr Arunachalam Kumar, Born on 27-04-1949, Completed his MBBS in 1978 and the MS (Anatomy) course in 1989 from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. Then onwards he continued working at KMC, Manipal and Mangalore till 2006

There after he joined K.S.Hegde Medical Academy as a Professor of Anatomy in February 2006 and served in various capacities mainly the Head of the Department of Anatomy, the Vice Dean and the Dean of KSHEMA till November 2014.

He was an exceptionally talented man with multifaceted persona. He was a polymath, a polyglot, rationalist, ardent cricket lover, a student leader, bird watcher, lateral thinker, popular teacher, an artist, nature lover, cryptic crossword expert, a writer, blogger, author and a humanist.
