Cancer Day - KSHEMA

The Department of Oncology, KSHEMA, in association with Intas Pharmaceuticals observed World Cancer Day on 6th February, 2018. The program began with the lighting of the lamp by the Medical Superintendent, Major Shivakumar Hiremath, who also spoke about the need for cancer awareness. Dr. Jayarama Shetty, Prof. & Head, Dept. of Radiotherapy & Oncology; Dr. Vijith Shetty, Medical Oncologist; Dr. Vishwanath, Surgical Oncologist; Dr. Mallikarjuna Rao, Radiation Oncologist & Senior Residents of the Dept. of Radiotherapy & Oncology participated in the program. Earlier in the week, on 3rd February, the Department along with the Neon Group had distributed fruits to poor cancer patients.
