A guest talk on ‘Science and Spirituality’ by Swamy Namanishtha Das was organized by NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Paneer campus on 21st January 2019. The Vice Principal, Dr R Narayana Charyulu introduced the guest to the gathering.
The talk was an initiative to inculcate a thought process among the young minds on life energy that has largely remained unexplored.
Swamy Namanishtha discussed on the importance of spirituality and thought process in the advancement of science. Many great scientists in history have explained various natural phenomenon with theories, but there are certain aspects to it which science cannot explain. Building a sustainable future is important to preserve the resources for generations to come, he said.
After the talk, students had an interactive session, followed by the vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Darewin Mendonsa. Students of second semester B. Pharm and M. Pharm were present.
