The Department of Community Medicine, KSHEMA in association with RHTC, Sasihithlu organized an awareness program on drug abuse and drug addiction on 2nd July, 2109 at Shri Narayana Sanil PU College Haleyangadi.
Dr Indushekhar Shetty inaugurated the program and spoke about the harmful effects of drug abuse and methods of de-addiction. Dr. Nanjesh Kumar spoke of the various substances that are abused and impressed upon students their side effects.
Prof. Jayashree, Principal, presided over the function. The program was moderated by Mr. Ravi MSW, Mr Dilip and interns Dr Sushravya and Dr Shreesha.
