The Department of Psychiatry organized "The International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking" on 1st July, 2019 at KS Hegde Medical Academy for MBBS students. Members from Narcotics Anonymous who were the resource persons, explained to students how they help people recover from addiction.
Dr. Prakash PS, Dean, KSHEMA, Dr. Satheesh Rao, HoD, Psychiatry, Dr. Shrinivasa Bhat, Professor, Dept of Psychiatry, KSHEMA were present.
