The Department of Child Health Nursing organized a State Level Workshop on Paediatric Intensive Care Skills at Chinthana Hall, Justice K S Hegde Charitable Hospital on 27th February 2020.
Dr. Gayathri Bhat, Dept. of Anaesthesia & Critical Care, Justice K S Hegde Charitable Hospital was the Chief Guest of the program. She enlivened the session by sharing valuable information and her experiences in the field of critical care. Prof. Umarani, Yenepoya College of Nursing, was the Observer from Karnataka Nursing Council (KNC). Prof. Sujatha R, Head, Dept of Child Health Nursing & Organizing Chairperson of the program welcomed the gathering. 81 delegates enrolled for the one-day workshop. Hands-on training on how to deal with a child in the pediatric intensive care was demonstrated with the advanced simulators at the NU-MEDISIM in the afternoon session.
