News from ABSMIDS | Webinar on ‘Protocols & Guidelines to be followed by school teachers during COVID-19 Pandemic’

To commemorate the National Public Health Dentistry Day, the Department of Public Health Dentistry, ABSMIDS organized a Webinar for the School Teachers of B.M High School, Ullal on ‘Protocols & Guidelines to be followed by school teachers during COVID-19 pandemic’, on 19th June 2020. The webinar intended to increase awareness among the school teachers about the protocols & guidelines to be followed during the forthcoming Board Examinations.

Principal Prof. (Dr) US Krishna Nayak welcomed the school teachers. A lecture on symptom identification and social distancing norms was delivered by Dr. Audrey M D’Cruz, HoD, Public Health Dentistry. The method of hand washing was demonstrated by Dr. Deesha Kumari and Dr. Bless Annie Philip. Donning and doffing of mask was demonstrated by Dr. Sahana Maben and Dr. Thara Chandran. Dr. Shilpa spoke on ‘Disinfection of Surfaces’.

The program concluded with the vote of thanks by Mrs. Jayavanthi Paul, Headmistress, B.M High School, Ullal.
