News from Dr. NSAM PU College, Mangaluru | World Environment Day

In order to create awareness and encourage protection of our environment, the NSS unit along with staff members of Dr. NSAM PU College, Mangaluru celebrated the World Environment Day on 5th June 2020 at the college premises. 

Principal Dr. Naveen Shetty K, inaugurated the function by planting an ornamental flowering sapling. 

He spoke on the importance of preserving & protecting nature and urged the staff members to nurture plants & trees and make their homes & surroundings environmental friendly. He also stressed on the necessity of preserving resources such as water and electricity. 

The program concluded with planting of more saplings by staff members in & around the college premises.
