News from NMAMIT | Naari Tattva

 






New Age Innovation Network [NAIN] Centre, NMAMIT [a unit of Karnataka Innovation & Technology Society, Dept. of Electronics, IT, BT and S&T, GoK] in collaboration with Authorcraft, Finite Loop and Grey Matter Clubs organized NAARI TATTVA - 2021 to celebrate the essence of women, honour them and recognize their contributions & achievements in diverse sectors on 13th March 2021 at Sambhram, NMAMIT, Nitte. 

 


The chief guest was Ms. Radha Prabhu, Principal, Dr. NSAM English Medium High School and the speakers were Dr. Kanthi Harish, Managing Trustee, Vijetha Special School; Ms. Shambhavi Bhandarkar, Vice President, Niveus Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and Ms. Shilpa, Founder (Entrepreneur), Halli Mane Rotti.

The event commenced with a prayer by Mr. Vijeth Ullal, followed by lighting of the lamp and welcome address by Mr. Shashank Shetty. Ms. Radha Prabhu, in her inaugural address, briefed the importance of Women's Day celebration and commemorated the cultural, political and socio-economic achievements of women. 


 
In his presidential address, Dr Niranjan N Chiplunkar, Principal, NMAMIT, appreciated the one-of-a-kind event collaboratively conducted by NAIN, Finite Loop, Authorcraft and Grey Matter.

‘Kurukshethra’, a gaming event was conducted by Finite Loop. Ms Shravya S Rao, IV BE [CSE] & Ms Shrilakshmi Pai, III BE [CSE] compered the event. Ms Swathi Shenoy, IV BE [ECE] delivered the vote of thanks.

Ms. Shambhavi Bhandarkar, Vice President, Niveus Solutions Pvt. Ltd, inspired the young audience with her motivational talk. She discussed her journey in the corporate world and how she transformed her dreams into actions.

Dr. Kanthi Harish, Founder & Managing Trustee, Vijetha Special School, spoke of her struggles when she started Vijetha Special School for the specially-abled children and how she overcame them. Ms. Shilpa, Founder, Halli Mane Rotti, shared her experience leading to the start of her mobile fast-food joint that exclusively serves North Karnataka delicacies.

After the end of the stage program, the preliminary round of Naari Tattva Quiz was conducted by Grey Matter. Top 6 teams were selected for the final round and post-lunch, the event resumed with the final round of quiz. Ms. Swasthika, III BE [CSE] was the Quiz master. The performances from Authorcraft included stand-up comedy by Mr Anup Rai; narration of a short story by Ms Shaashwati; Hindi poetry by Ms Srishti & Mr Utkarsh; English poetry by Mr. Shravan and Sanskrit poem recital by Mr. Varun.

The event came to an end after the quiz results were announced.
