World Health Day was celebrated at Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy on 7th April 2021.
Prof. Dr. Dhanesh Kumar K U welcomed the gathering. Prof. Dr. Mallikarjunaiah H S, Principal, Acharya’s NR Institute of Physiotherapy, Bangalore delivered a frontier lecture on ‘Building a fairer & healthier world for everyone. He shared his knowledge regarding the importance of self-control, psychosocial health and physical health through an interactive session with the students.
An essay writing competition on the topic ‘My role in building a fairer and healthier world for everyone’ was held as part of the celebration.
The event was coordinated by Ms. Shellette D’Almeida, Asst. professor, Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy. The program was compered by Ms. Chaitanya Ratheesh. The final year BPT students attended the program.
