News from Dr. NSAM First Grade College, Bengaluru | 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Celebration
To mark the evolutionary journey of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and to sensitize students about patriotism, various Committees organized programs under the banner of Dr. NSAM First Grade College from January 2022. Students took part in a plethora of programs.
Following is the list of events organized:
Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and to commemorate 75 years of independence and the proud history of its people, culture and accomplishments. Kala Kaushalya, the Cultural Committee in association with the Dept. of Physical Education & Sports of Dr. NSAM First Grade College celebrated Independence Day to pay homage to our national heroes and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
The Chief Guest, Journalist from Pratikshana News Channel hoisted the national flag. The program began with a welcome address by Dr. R Shanti Iyer. In his motivational speech, Mr. Akshay Kumar shared information about digital India and the importance of free India in our life.
Dr. Anupama G, Principal addressed the gathering appealing to all gathered, to take pride in being an Indian and fulfilling one’s duty towards the nation with responsibility.
The Chief Guest distributed the prizes to those students who had participated in various activities organized by various committees under the banner of 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The program ended with a vote of thanks by Mr. Dinesh, student of fourth semester B.com.
