The Department of ENT, K.S Hegde Medical Academy, in collaboration with the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board organized an awareness program for the students of Vidyarathna English Medium School on "Noise Pollution" on 20th February 2023. Sri. Ramesh KM, Senior Environment Officer, Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, inaugurated the program.
Dr. Vadisha Bhat, Professor & Head, Dept. of ENT, KSHEMA, welcomed the gathering and spoke on the need for awareness among the public regarding noise pollution. Dr Sahana M S, Postgraduate student was the Master of Ceremony and Dr. Shravan Alva, Asst Professor, ENT delivered the vote of thanks.
About 250 students participated in this program.
