The one-day workshop on NEP BBA Fourth semester syllabus organised by the Dept. of Commerce & Management, Dr. NSAM FGC, Nitte in collaboration with the Forum of Business Management Teachers (FOBMAT), Mangalore University was inaugurated by Dr. T Mallikarjunappa, Professor, JKSHIM on 1st April 2023.
Addressing the gathered delegates, Dr. Mallikarjunappa said that the faculty should be active in providing practical knowledge to the students rather than theoretical thoughts and should be more enthusiastic to share their knowledge with the young minds of today. Workshops of this type are beneficial in this regard.
Dr. Chandrashekhar, President, FOBMAT gave the introductory remarks.
NMAMIT, Principal Dr. Niranjan Chiplunkar presided over the function. He said that the education sector is facing a crisis in the post-corona era, so the teachers are facing more challenges than before and this type of workshop is helpful in increasing the responsibilities of the teachers.
Dr. Veena Kumari BK, Principal of Dr. NSAM FGC welcomed the guests and briefed about the workshop. Ms. Sandhya Bhandari, Jt. Secretary, FOBMAT proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Priyanka Shirva, Professor, English Department was the master of ceremony.
118 lecturers from Mangalore University affiliated colleges took part in the workshop.
