The Department of Public Health Dentistry, ABSMIDS in association with the International College of Dentists and Primary Health Centre, Nellyadi conducted a free dental treatment camp at Primary Health Centre, Nellyadi on 31.5.2023.
As part of commemoration of ‘No Tobacco Day’, oral cancer screening was done. A total of 25 patients were screened during the camp. 4 patients underwent extractions, 5 got oral prophylaxis done, GIC restoration was placed for 3 patients, Jaw relation was recorded for 1 patient, secondary impression was made for 2 patients, primary impression registered for 1 patient, 1 patient underwent denture repair, medications were prescribed for 1 patient, and 6 patients were referred to Subrahmanya Rural centre for further treatment.
