News from NMAMIT | Rice donatiion drive

In the spirit of celebrating National Rice Month, the Annadaana Club, under Abhyuday - Department of Counselling, Welfare, Training & Placement, NMAMIT embarked on a remarkable community outreach program - a rice donation drive. The motive of their initiative revolves around the club’s name itself, ‘ANNA - DAANA’, which translates to ‘Donating rice’.

The Annadaana Club achieved an inspiring feat by collecting a whopping 400 kilograms of rice. This incredible collection became the catalyst for their noble cause, which was to provide rice to various deserving institutions in the Karkala region.

The club donated 100 kilograms of rice to each of the following organizations:
1. Devditha Old Age Home, Kedinje, Karkala
2. Chetana Special School, Karkala
3. Vijetha Special School, Karkala
4. Suraksha Seva Ashram, Karkala

Annadaana Team will continue to make a meaningful contribution towards addressing issues of hunger and starvation.
