The Students Association of Computer Science (STACS) of NRAM Polytechnic, Nitte organized a talk on “Entrepreneurship” by Dr. Shashank Shetty, Assoc.Professor, CSE, NMAM Institute of Technology on 27th March 2026.
Dr. Shetty engaged the students through group activities and introduced important techniques such as SCAMPER and SWOT analysis which helped students understand creative problem-solving, idea generation, and methods to improve and refine innovative ideas. He elaborated on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship,emphasizing the importance of identifying opportunities and transforming ideas into practical solutions. He supported his explanation with examples from popular platforms illustrating how simple ideas can grow into successful ventures with the right vision and persistence. The session highlighted the importance of collective thinking and collaborative decision-making and demonstrated how diverse perspectives can lead to accurate outcomes.
