A program was arranged at Dr. K R Shetty Centre for Tulu Studies on 8th May 2024, to pay tribute to Palthady Ramakrishna Achar, a senior researcher, litterateur who passed away on the previous day.
Mr. Devith S K Perady briefed about the achievements, writings of Dr. Palthady Ramakrishna Achar, who was a Tulu poet, scholar and former President of Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy.
The poems of Palthady Ramakrishna Achar were sung by Vijayalakshmi Kateel, Jayalakshmi R. Shetty and Suresh Rao Attur during this occasion. Dr. Sayeegeetha & Sri Praveena Ammembala shared their experiences of his guidance and love for Tulu.
