News from ABSMIDS | Training program on infection control protocols

A training program on infection control protocols for non-teaching staff of ABSMIDS, was organized by the Institutional Infection Control Cell of the college on 12th & 13th November 2024. The chief guest was Prof. (Dr) Rochelle Tellis, HoD, Microbiology, Yenepoya Medical College & Chairman of Hospital Infection Control Cell.

The inaugural ceremony was followed by a series of interactive sessions on Hospital Infection Control protocols to be followed in the dental clinics to prevent cross infections and personal and patient safety. These sessions were carried out by NABH certified resource persons, Prof (Dr) Rochelle A Tellis, Ms. Brenda Lobo and Mr. Arun Dsouza.
